Conor McSweeny, Array’s new housemanager
Arraymusic is thrilled to have been able to create two new staffing positions and hire 3 new staff during the pandemic! This is due in part to new COVID-related government staffing support (CEWS) that we were able to secure in order to assist us financially following various rolling lockdowns and dampened music activity in the sector and in our space.
We are very pleased to announce our newest joining staff member — following the departure of Aleda DeRoche for New York and LA production work (swanky) — Conor McSweeny.
As Array’s new House Manager, Conor handles Array’s rentals going forward, as well as assists our AV & Production Manager Dan Tapper with video recordings, livestreaming and production, in addition to lending support to our other staff. Anyone interested in renting the Array Space should contact Conor at [email protected].
Conor comes to us with extensive experience in managing a creative space (after working several years managing rentals and production at 918 Bathurst Centre where he hosted about 140 events annually) and in producing events (as Director of Sofar Sounds Toronto). More recently, Conor has been handling marketing and promotions for the Indigenous Performing Arts Alliance.
We welcome Conor and look forward to working with him to achieve great things at Arraymusic and in the Array Space.
