One of the most active composers on the international stage, London-based Japanese composer Dai Fujikura’s works have been championed by Pierre Boulez, Ensemble Intercontemporain, the London Sinfonietta, the International Contemporary Ensemble, and many, many more. In the composer’s first Toronto portrait, the Array Ensemble joins forces with Thin Edge New Music Collective and the University of Toronto Faculty of Music for a three set ‘mini-marathon’ of Fujikura’s chamber music–including the North American premiere of a new work co-commissioned by Array Ensemble and Radio France.
